L’avantage, c’est que, bien souvent, le vitrage à isolation acoustique offre également une excellente isolation thermique. Le vitrage à isolation phonique permet d’isoler votre habitation du bruit extérieur. Il suffit pour cela de poser un châssis avec un double ou triple vitrage.

L’épaisseur des verres et des intercalaires peut être augmentée en fonction de la nuisance sonore extérieure, mais le poids de la fenêtre sera plus important. Cependant, confort ne doit pas rimer avec austérité. Votre vitrage à isolation acoustique peut être réalisé avec des intercalaires de couleurs en accord avec votre intérieur. Le verre peut également être feuilleté.

Le vitrage à isolation acoustique est largement utilisé dans les habitations, mais également dans les locaux commerciaux. Tous les vitrages à isolation que nous installons sont fabriqués en Belgique et font l’objet de contrôles de qualité très stricts.

Pour les vitrages, l’isolation phonique repose traditionnellement sur les éléments suivants :

• Les épaisseurs des plaques de verre,
• La différence d’épaisseur entre le verre extérieur et le verre intérieur (vitrages dissymétriques) et,
• L’épaisseur de l’intercalaire du vitrage isolant (dans une moindre mesure)
