Après découpe aux dimensions d’utilisation, le vitrage subit un traitement mécanique ou manuel à froid destiné à améliorer sa fonctionnalité, à souligner son aspect ou encore à le personnaliser. Trous et encoches & Sablages

Le décor mat est obtenu par projection de matériau abrasif sur la surface du verre. Pendant le sablage, les parties qui doivent rester transparentes sont protégées par un masque. La profondeur et la translucidité du sablage varient selon l’intensité de la projection et le type de matériau abrasif utilisé.

Transformation en usine

Après façonnage et selon la nature du produit, le verre peut être :

trempé ou durci ;
assemblé en double vitrage thermique ;
argenté ou laqué.

Le façonnage du verre feuilleté s’effectue généralement sur un volume déjà feuilleté.
